​Mrs. Janani Raju Alamanda is a vibrant and versatile personality. She is very grateful to her parents and her gurus for her achievements in the world of dance. Dance has been her passion since childhood. Noticing her flair for dance, Janani was initially trained by Guru Smt. Mala Robins at a tender age of ten. Two years later, Guru Smt. Meera Ganapathy Dhanu of Nritya Sharada Bharatanatya Kala Mandir took her under her wings and was in her tutelage for over nine years.

She performed her Arangetram on September 18th, 2011. Janani's artistic personality is not only limited to dance. She has innate talent for singing and designing craft as well. She has managed to do justice in each of her chosen fields, displays immense confidence and is a treat to watch on stage. Besides Bharatanatyam, Janani also specializes in Bollywood dance, She has choreographed for various schools, colleges and cultural programs.

She is a  multifaceted, multitalented artist! Being a devotee of dance from childhood, she is a strong believer and supporter of art in education. They say 'The one exclusive sign of thorough knowledge is the power of teaching' and Janani wishes to continue her journey in the United States as well.

In addition to dance, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation and Control) and has worked as a product designer for a big fiberglass company.
